We are seeking a skilled and dedicated plumber to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, ensuring compliance with all local plumbing codes and regulations.

About us

Munro Plumbing is a family-owned business focused mainly on residential and commercial new construction and renovation, with scheduled service in our community. We do not operate a 24-hour emergency or on-call service.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.

  • Rough-in experience is mandatory.

  • Diagnose plumbing issues and determine the appropriate solution.

  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively for a variety of plumbing tasks.

  • Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and HVAC technicians as needed.

  • Complete all work in accordance with safety standards and local building codes.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

  • Communicate clearly with clients about plumbing issues and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing systems.

  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools related to plumbing tasks.

  • Able to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.

  • A valid driver’s license is advantageous for transporting materials to job sites.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

  • Plumbing License 306A (required).
